Linky Love

I seem to have some very creative friends. I thought that I would share some of their sites so you could see how creative they are.

Amie has a couple of stores on etsy. The first, Modest Milk, has breastfeeding supplies/accessories. The second has a variety of stuff for children. Little Ones to Him Belong Check out the cute superhero capes. Keegan loves his!

Our friend from church, Ricci, just started her shop on etsy. She makes the cutest hairclips and headbands for little girls and the prices can't be beat. Check out MadelainesClips

My friend Jenny also makes hairclips for little girls. They are extremely cute and made of high quality materials. Check out Ella Bella Bowtique

My Boys!

I can't believe how different my boys are built. Truitt is nowing wearing clothes that Keegan wore at the age of 18 months. Yes, Keegan has always been a lightweight, but it still blows me away. Here are a couple pictures of the boys in the same outfit. Keegan at 18 months and Truitt at 8 months.

The Miller Brothers are Going to Jail for "Good"!

It's true, and we need your help to post bail!

A warrant for the Miller Brothers "arrest" has been issued by the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). We'll be going to "jail" on October 9th - handcuffed and dragged away to serve our time. No doubt the press will be there in droves to watch us get hauled away to the slammer. However, if we raise our bail of $1600 before the Lock-up, they promise to go easy on us, but to do this we need your financial assistance to post our bond.

Your 100% tax-deductible donation is our key to freedom and will help MDA continue research for treatments and curew of the 43 neuromuscular diseases they cover. Your support also will help MDA provide wheelchairs, clinic visits, support groups and summer camp for the families served by the Association in our local area.

Any donation amount is welcome from $5 to $500 or even more.

Visit this site to make your donations and help us post bail.

Serious folks, this is a great opportunity to raise money for a really good cause. Help us out and we'll be sure and share pictures with you from the Lock-Up.

One Accord

I am blessed to have met Jenny on a message board 5+ years ago. We have also had the privilege of meeting up in real life. The more I get to know Jenny the more I wish we lived closer. Jenny and her family live across the country from us. She has an amazing heart for God. Her love for the Lord and her family are evident in all she does, even in the midst of trials.

Jenny and her brother have recorded a CD. It is excellent! We have it downloaded onto our iPod so that we can listen to it anywhere. Check it out here

Chat with us - Live in 3D!

Recently my brother Allan and I discovered a really fun FREE chatroom offered by Google that lets you chat with others in 3D. Today we launched the 3D chat utility on our most recent books website. It is so fun I just had to brag about it here and invite you all to join in.

Joining is simple.

1. Just visit our website at http://www.codebearers.com/ and login with your Codebearer account (if you don't have one - get one, it's FREE)

2. Once you are registered and logged in to our site you can view a members only webpage by clicking on "Beyond the Books > LIVE CHAT!" in the menu. It will take you to this page http://www.codebearers.com/sitemax/tabid/398/Default.aspx

3. Download the Google Lively software as prompted (only takes a few seconds) and follow the instructions on the screen to get started. Anyone with a FREE google account can join in on the fun. Soon you'll be creating your own 3D character and visiting a whole new dimension of the web where you can interact with other people in 3D. I have to warn you - chatting in 3D is contagious. You can even create a 3D room of your own for your own blog or website. But before you leave our site you might as well buy a copy of our book for the heck of it! :-)

Keep in mind, Google's service is still in BETA and you will likely experience some bugs now and then - but its still worth a look. In time I'm sure they'll get this ironed out and add more rooms, furniture and accessories to play with too.

Hurtful Experiences

Why is that those people that should love, care and respect us the most hurt us the most? I am awful at letting things that bother me build up inside until I can no longer take it and then I explode. This is something that I have been forced to deal with for the last couple of years and I am tired, hurt, disappointed, angry, saddened...I have a range of emotions. I hate confrontation, but I get to the point where I don't care, I just can't carry the burden any longer. How do you confront someone who seems to think they are better than you and that they deserve special treatment? The hardest part for me is that my child seems to get the brunt of most of this hurtful treatment. Thankfully, he doesn't notice it (yet)! How do I explain this to him as he gets older? I am praying about this situation and trying to figure out a way to make it better. Unfortunately, it is not a situation that I can just remove my family from. Please keep us in your prayers as I struggle along and seek out guidance from godly men and women and ultimately seek God's will in this matter.
